CivicUpdate
A civic-engagement platform that brings local government into a single, readable view.
CivicUpdate answers a small set of plain questions for a non-technical audience: what’s happening in my jurisdiction this week, what was decided last week, and what is the local press covering. It aggregates meetings, agendas, and reporting from local government bodies across North Carolina, and surfaces them through a jurisdiction selector and a daily-briefing module designed to be read in a minute.
Designed, built, and shipped end-to-end — strategy, information architecture, design system, frontend, backend, content pipeline, and ongoing operations — and paired with BuildCivic, which serves the other side of the same problem: the staff inside municipal government who run the meetings the residents care about.
